The days are growing colder and shorter and so it must be time for some Halloween baking. I made these last week and will almost certainly be making some more over the next fortnight.
I tried to sneak my daughter’s witch’s hat and cloak out into the garden for a little cupcake photo shoot, but she caught me and demanded a cupcake as payment. Thankfully she didn’t eat a spider cake, as I think that black teeth should be for Halloween only. Some of these were red velvet which is perfect under a bloodshot eyeball.
